In 2006 I began journalism courses at Angelo State University. It was through these courses I learned that I missed writing and creating in a different form. I have always loved telling people's stories and I took that love and began writing again. My first professional article was published in Natural Life Magazine. The editor dubbed it "Hockey Math". The article is a personal story inspired by my work during my time with the San Angelo Amateur Hockey Association. The child in the story is not named, but he made me remember the importance of non-traditional education to help children leave in their own way.
From there I wrote a couple articles for the Angelo State University student newspaper, the ASU Ram Page. Being a part of an inspiring staff I realized I needed to utilize my talents and grow as an article and journalist. So in 2008 I produced the first issue of Texas Fight News Magazine. It was a mixed martial arts publication that allowed me to share the stories of the talent across the state of Texas and the levels they will go to make it to the big shows.
The stories listed on the left are a collaboration of my works from all three publications. I enjoy writing and would love to continue to write and share the stories of those who continue to inspire others.
